Producer

The job:

Swirl is seeking a full-time Producer to join our fast-paced and growing team. The Producer at Swirl is ultimately responsible for translating creative ideas into project plans and deliverables for event activations, in-store experience, print, and digital. He/She oversees the quality of creative assets from the agency, sitting at the epicenter of the Strategy, Account, Creative, and Media. This position serves as the conductor of the project life cycle, including but not limited to, scoping, scheduling, moving work through internal systems, managing resources, working with external vendors, and doing what's needed drive the project forward, all the while monitoring feasibility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in morning status meetings for assigned projects across multiple accounts; keep status of projects up to date daily
  • Attend creative kick-off meetings with Creative and Account teams to review job specifics, define project milestones, and set realistic deadline expectations
  • Create schedules at the onset of a project with the collaboration of the Account Manager and Creative leads and route to team
  • Lead projects across a range mediums, including in-store, online, video and motion graphics/animation
  • Manage the proofreading process for comps and presentation decks
  • Manage creative timing and check in early and often with Creative team in regards to readiness for internal reviews; ensure that decks and comps are completed and routed on time
  • Create daily hot sheet clearly stating deliverables list with timing; act as early warning system when milestones are not being met
  • Review media master Excel documents and subsequent revisions to insure that deliverables are provided on time and to correct specification
  • Confirm printing specs and generate production spec sheets for Studio
  • Route final mechanicals for approval for all jobs
  • Review print ready files to confirm they are accurate before release to publication or vendor
  • Upload final print ready files to printers' FTP sites, Egnyte, etc., and generate alert email to vendor and team
  • Examine and route e-proofs, and take action when appropriate to correct errors in reproduction quality
  • Maintain accurate daily time sheets in Workamajig

 

We’re looking for people with:

  • 5+ years experience in production and project management; retail and in-store experience a plus
  • Proven track record of managing projects and producing work in both digital and traditional realms
  • Commitment to owning projects and driving them to successful completion on time and on budget
  • Ability to address changes or issues to project schedules, providing teams with guidance on impact and risk to schedule and budgets
  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization
  • Resourceful, organized, self-motivated, and productive
  • Prior experience with Workamajig a plus
